Overnight Snow Hits Area

Most area roads are OK, but there are some slick spots to watch.

Just when everyone thought they has seen the last of the snow ...

About 2 to 4 inches of snow fell on the township overnight, but the National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting an inch or less of fresh snow for early Tuesday morning.

But the NWS' winter storm warning is still in effect until 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Driving conditions for the morning commute are expected to be hazardous, warned the NWS.

Most major area roads, however, seem to be OK with some slick areas here and there. Side roads are a bit of a problem though.

The rest of the day is expected to be mostly cloudy with gradual clearing, with a high near 31 degrees, reported the NWS.

For Tuesday evening it is likely to be clear, with a low of 15 degrees, stated the NWS.
