Roads Hit With Eerie October Snow

Check out the photos of the snow.

Main and secondary roads were a bit of a mess after freezing rain and snow hit on a very unusual October Saturday.

But come Saturday night, the National Weather Service is calling for a 100 percent chance of snow, mainly before 11 p.m., with a low of around 31 degrees.

A blustery north wind is expected, blowing at "19 to 22 mph (and then) decreasing to between 11 and 14 mph," states the NWS.

The total nighttime snow accumulation might be between 1 to 3 inches, but adding in the snowfall from Saturday afternoon, it might be up to 5 inches, predicts the NWS.

But the NWS is still predicting lots of sun for Sunday with a high near 44 degrees.
