Snow, Freezing Rain Expected During Morning Commute

A wintry mix is expected for the morning commute, but the National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting that there will be little accumulation of snow or ice.

During the overnight rain is expected, but with a low of around 32 being likely, the rain may turn into snow and freezing rain before 4 a.m., reported the NWS.

But between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday may see snow showers and freezing rain, with a predicted high of around 36 degrees, stated the NWS. Some sun is expected later in the day.

While there maybe little to no ice accumulation expected for Tuesday, there might be less than half an inch of snow possible, warned the NWS.

Winds are expected to be strong for Tuesday, with gusts predicted to be as high as 41 mph, reported the NWS.

However Tuesday night might go down to 11 degrees, with wind gusts expected to be as high as 33 mph, issued the NWS.
