Say It Isn't Snow — Updated Weekend Forecast

Saturday's looking sloppy for outdoor activities.

Will it snow ... yes or no?

First the forecast said yes. Then Friday morning it was no.

As of 1:45 p.m. Friday snow was back in the National Weather Service forecast.

The "S" word made for some great TV weather excitement on Wednesday and Thursday but by Friday morning there was no mention of flurries in the National Weather Service Forecast for Haverford Township.

Now the S-word (SNOW) is back in for Saturday after 10 a.m.

It will be a chilly and wet Saturday, however. The forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of rain on Saturday with a high only getting into the low 40's. The sun returns on Sunday when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in a Sunday night game.

The Philadelphia area had more than 40 inches of snow last winter, roughly twice as much as a normal winter.
