NWS: Freezing Rain Will Likely Turn Into Plain Rain Saturday

An expected 0.1 of an inch of ice is expected to accumulate Saturday.

Saturday will see mainly rain and a possible chance of freezing rain will be added to the mix during Saturday morning, according to the  National Weather Service (NWS).

Periods of freezing rain is likely to occur Saturday morning which will likely just mainly turn into rain, said the NWS, and an expected 0.1 of an inch of ice is expected to accumulate Saturday.

Some roads may experience slippery conditions due to precipitation. Please drive with caution while traveling.

Rain is expected to occur off and on throughout Saturday until about 10 p.m., predicts the NWS. A high of about 38 degrees for Saturday has been forecasted by the NWS.

About 0.10 of an inch of accumulated rain is expected for Saturday.

Luckily for Super Bowl fans, Sunday will be unaffected by the wintry mix and precipitation in which the NWS has forecasted the day to be mostly sunny and clear with a possible high of near 42 degrees.
