Old Ink or Phone Could Help Your Library

A library program could be the answer to getting old ink cartridges and cell phones out of your house without heading for the dump.

When it’s time for a new ink cartridge in your printer, what do you do with the old one? What do you do with your old cell phone?

You can drop them both off at the Haverford Township Library. It will keep them out of the landfills and it will help raise a little money for your library.

Library Director Christine Faris says the printer ink and cell phone project isn’t a huge money maker, but every little bit helps and the great thing is that it gives the community a place to recycle those items.

The collection boxes are to the right when you walk into the library in Havertown.

The recycling program goes through CC Cash.
