NWS Predicts Weekend Rain, Snow

There is a 90 percent chance of precipitation overnight Friday, according to the NWS.

After light snow midweek, a little more snow is anticipated in the Philadelphia area this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 90 percent chance of rain and snow Friday night, which will likely turn into all snow after 4 a.m. Saturday, according to the NWS forecast. Less than an inch of snow is predicted overnight.

Snow is also expected Saturday before 1 p.m., according to the NWS. Precipitation could turn to rain for the following three hours before changing back into snow around 4 p.m. NWS predicts the chance of precipitation on Saturday to be about 70 percent, with new snowfall totals of less than one inch.
