NWS Issues Flood Advisory

The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flood advisory for Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester counties until 8:15 p.m., Tuesday.

The weather system has left areas with excessive runoff from heavy rainfall, which may cause small creeks and streams to flood, the NWS warns. Other places with poor drainage areas may become flooded.

The rain will start to diminish between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the NWS states.
