NWS Issues Flood Advisory

It will last until 5 p.m.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flood advisory for Monday afternoon until 5 p.m. for Delaware, Montgomery and Chester counties.

The NWS has issued a warning for people not to drive on roadways that are covered with water and that people should either drive or move to higher ground should flooding occur.

Monday afternoon may see a strong chance of showers and thunderstorms, which could produce heavy rain, the NWS stated, with a high of around 82 degrees.

More thunderstorms and rain are expected for Monday night and early Tuesday morning before 1 a.m. The temperature might go down to 67 degrees during the overnight, stated the NWS.

Tuesday may see another around of showers and thunderstorms, the NWS predicted, with a high of around 80 degrees.
