Monday Calls For Rain And The End Of The Heat Wave

With the heat wave over, the National Weather Service predicts rain and a high of 88 degrees.

When was the last time you saw rain as a welcome relief? With lawns turning brown and heat advisories turning people into shut-ins, today’s rain is more than welcome.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), showers and thunderstorms are likely today past 1pm. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high of 88 degrees and 60 percent chance of precipitation.

The night temperature will drop to 70 degrees while there is a 50 percent chance of rain mostly before 2 a.m.
