Moms Talk: Thanksgiving Traditions

A member of our "Council of Moms" shares tips on having a meaningful Thanksgiving.

Each week in Moms Talk, the Haverford-Havertown Patch’s Moms Council of experts and smart moms take your questions, give advice and share solutions.

So grab a cup of coffee and settle in as we start the conversation today with: What are your favorite Thanksgiving traditions?

Answer from Mom’s Councilmember Julie (mother of 3): At the top of our list is spending time with family. We eat until we burst and just enjoy each other’s company. Specifically, for the kids I try to have plenty of Thanksgiving Day crafts and games to play. The past few years we have created Thanksgiving Day place mats and center pieces. We also have played Bingo using pictures and words centered around Thanksgiving. This is a great website I have used to print Bingo Cards for all different occasions.
