Light Snow Sprinkles Local Area

Light snow has begun to hit the area, as predicted. We could see about an inch of snow, says NBC 10.

A light snow began to fall on the local area just around 2 p.m. Wednesday, .

Accumulation is not expected to exceed 1 inch and any snowfall is expected to end before 11 p.m. according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of about 39 degrees.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, meaning periods of snow, sleet or rain could cause travel difficulties, until 10 p.m. Wednesday.

The NWS warns roadways, especially secondary roadways, could be impacted during the evening commute.
