With hundreds of events come and go in the community,  how often does one pass you by that you wish you had not missed out on? Each week The Haverford-Havertown Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

What: "This year, Children’s Book Week events will be hosted in over 40 US cities across the country. Children’s Book Week is the longest running literacy event in the country administered by the Children’s Book Council, in association with the CBC Foundation. Children's Book World has been chosen as the official Children’s Book Week event host in Haverford. Each event will feature multiple authors and illustrators and all are free and open to the public. Attendees will receive Children’s Book Week posters and tote bags (while supplies last)."

6th Annual Heritage Festival (2012)

When: Sunday, June 3, 2012, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

What: "This event is run by volunteers and we are grateful for the contributions of time, energy and resources made by each one of you. Your involvement in the community is what makes Haverford Township such a great place to live. Thanks to everyone for your support of local history!" Click here for more information.
