Haverford School Goalie Hosts Lacrosse Clinic for Urban Kids

Jacob Landman is something of a lacrosse evangelical.

In an attempt to bring the sport to urban kids who, for a host of cultural and socioeconomic reasons, might not otherwise get to experience it, the Haverford School goalie hosted a lacrosse clinic on his home field on Saturday, the Philadelphia Inquirer is reporting.

Along with friend and fellow laxer Nick Wojdak, an attacker for Episcopal Academy, Landman hosted 41 students from Boys’ Latin charter school for a two-hour lesson on the sport he loves.

"I was never too much into sports, but lacrosse has loved me and taught me so many things," Landman, 18, told the paper. "It's taught me hard work and loyalty."
