  • Why Go:  "Come to the library and celebrate April Fool's Day. The library will offer opportunity to create practical joke items, watch a comedy and eat "crazy" food. The club is open to students in grades 6-12."

  • Why Go: "Celebrate the vibrant and colorful work created by participants in the Art Center’s Outreach Programs as they explore rhythm and movement in the world around us through a variety of media."

  • Where/When: , 1901 Old West Chester Pike, Havertown, PA, 19083,  Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2, 6 p.m.–9 p.m.
  • Why Go: "The Haverford Township Free Library is pleased to announce two performances for its 4th Annual Murder Mystery. The show is set for Friday, April 1st and Saturday, April 2nd from 6:30-9 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)  at Barnaby’s of Havertown. The title for this year’s production is 'Reality Kills'."

  • Why Go: "Darby Creek — 'A Ribbon of Beauty' — runs along the western border of Haverford Township. Enjoy a healthy walk while exploring the connection between Merry Place and Haverford Reserve.  (approximately 3 miles — a bus will bring us back to Merry Place)."

  • Where/When: Haverford Township Free Library, 1601 Darby Rd., Havertown, PA, 19083, Sunday, April 3, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Why Go: "Learn about the major generals and battles of the Civil War with historian Andrew Miller."
  • Pricing: Free
