Expect A Somewhat Merry Weather Weekend

While Friday will have a chance of showers, at least Santa Claus will have some nice weather when he flies into Havertown Christmas Eve night.

The National Weather Service (NWS) is calling for a 30 percent chance of showers for Friday, with a high near 51 degrees.

Friday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low of around 32 degrees, the NWS states.

Saturday is supposed to be mostly sunny, with a high near 43 degrees, the NWS is calling for.

Christmas Eve night, Old St. Nick may have to use Rudolph's nose because it might be partly cloudy when he arrives in Havertown to deliver gifts to good boys and girls and a hard-working editor of a hyper-local news website that covers Haverford Township.

But at least Santa's red coat will keep him warm, since it is supposed to be 33 degrees Saturday night.

But Christmas Day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 47 degrees, the NWS predicts, with Sunday night expected be partly cloudy, with a low of around 33 degrees.

Come Monday, it looks like it might be mostly sunny with a high near 43 degrees, the NWS states.
