Budget Vote, Summer School Registration This Week

The Haverford School Board plans to adopt the district's final budget at the June 20 meeting of its School Directors. The proposed budget is available to read online. Summer school registration is open until June 21.  Click here for more info on Summer School.

For fun, there's a future Phillie Jesse Biddle autograph signing taking place on Monday June 17 at 6 p.m. at Carl's Cards & Collectibles in Havertown. Also sports related is something that the area has been thinking about a lot lately—golf. There is a Harold Edgerton and Walker Evans: Photographs of Golf exhibit at Haverford College.

W.C. Murphy's Pub in Havertown is hosting an Open Mic Night on Tuesday, June 18 at 9 p.m.

If you have a dog, there is a Dog Park Day at Haverford Reserve Dog Park on Saturday, June 22. Daylin Leach will be on hand as well as Finding Shelter with several of their adoptable dogs. This event was originally scheduled for May 11, but was postponed due to bad weather. There will be a raffle, 50/50 drawing and lots of goodies for you and your fur-kids.
