After the Storm: A Look at Road Conditions

As of Tuesday, there were still some traffic problems in Haverford Township.

Hurricane Sandy snapped trees like twigs when it tore through the township on Monday and Tuesday, but it didn’t break the resolve of Haverford residents.

But while the storm is over, some of its effects are still lingering. According to the Delaware County News Network, here are some areas that, as of Tuesday, have problems that have not yet been resolved.

The following streets have no lights or traffic signals.

  • Lawrence and Eagle roads (Stop signs are being used)
  • Darby Road and Ardmore Avenue (Stop signs are being used)
  • Marple Road and Ardmore Avenue
  • 2300 Block of Darby Road

The following roads are closed because trees or downed wires are present.
