A Rainy, Snowy Weekend Ahead

The National Weather Service (NWS) is predicting a chance of rain and snow for the weekend for Havertown.

Friday may see an increase of clouds, with a high near 37 degrees, the NWS states.

During the overnight, there is a 70 percent chance of snow likely after 1 a.m., the NWS predicts, with a less than an inch of accumulation is possible. The low maybe around 28 degrees.

There is an 80 percent chance of snow before 10 a.m. Saturday and then rain and snow throughout the day, with a high near 38 degrees, predicts the NWS. Up to a half an inch accumulation is possible.

Come Saturday night, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow before 10 p.m., but then it is expected to turn into snow and sleet, with an anticipated accumulation of a less than a tenth of an inch possible, the NWS is calling for. The night time low maybe around 27 degrees.

For Sunday, there is a slight chance of rain and then becoming partly sunny, with a high near 41 degrees, the NWS states.

There is a 40 percent chance of rain for Sunday night, with a low of around 39 degrees, the NWS predicts.

And for Monday, the NWS is calling for a 50 percent chance of rain with a high near 54 degrees.
