Unity Animal Hospital Pet Food Drive for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry

Unity Animal Hospital Pet Food Drive for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry

In an effort to continue our commitment to community outreach, Unity Animal Hospital will be holding an ongoing Pet Food Drive with donations being delivered to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.  There are many people in need in our area and that need extends to their furry family members.  When people are struggling, often the needs of their pets are too much of a burden to bear.  In an effort to keep pets in their loving homes and make sure their nutritional needs are met, we are asking for your help. If you would like to participate please bring unopened dog or cat food and place it in the donation basket located in Unity’s waiting room.  We would gladly accept dry or canned pet food as well as treats.

The Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry is a volunteer staffed food pantry housed in Prospect Hill Baptist Church in Prospect Park.  They are a non-denominational, non-sectarian food bank that covers roughly the Ridley and Interboro School Districts. They are a member of the Delco Interfaith Food Assistance Network (DIFAN), an organization of 11 food pantries covering Delaware County.  For more information please visit their website.
