Surrey in Havertown is the Haverford Township Free Library’s 2013 Community Partner Award winner. Surrey in Havertown’s Director, Mary Catherine Dabrowski, accepted the award which was presented at the Library’s Masquerade Gala and Silent Auction on Saturday, October 26. The award is a reminder of the ongoing collaboration between the Haverford Township Free Library and Surrey. Together, the Library and Surrey have initiated programs around issues of interest to older adults and have collaborated jointly with the Haverford Township Adult School presenting workshops of interest to Boomers, such as Explore Your Future.
