What's Selling at the Oakmont Farmers Market This Week?
The farmers market's 2013 season starts Wednesday.
The Oakmont Farmers Market is The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot, 1 W. Eagle Road in Havertown.
The farmers market has provided a list of vendors that will be at the market during the season and what they will be offering shoppers. Some of those listed below will not be selling this Wednesday. That will be indicated in the descriptions.

Amazing Acres Goat Dairy will have some Sea Smoke and Baby Bloomer as well an assortment of chevres (including plain, Rosemary Lemon, Cranberry, Roasted Garlic and others) and our ever-versatile Fromagina. Email cheese@amazingacresgoatdairy.com with any special requests.

Backyard Bison will be at the market this week with have a good selection of Buffalo Burgers, Steaks, Roasts, Ribs, Sausage, and Jerky.
Peg will have several kinds of lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, onions, and radishes, asparagus, aragula, and some herbs. She is also hoping to have sugar snaps. And, of course, the dog treats!
Conebella will have all 15 varieties of our Cheddar and Colby based cheeses at market. We are excited to unveil our newest cheese spreads. These delicious spreads are a traditional Pub cheese spread made from Conebella Farm Cheese. Varieties will include Horseradish Cheddar, Garden Garlic, Jalapeno and Tomato Basil.

FRUITWOOD ORCHARDS HONEY FARM
This week Fruitwood will have asparagus, radish, spinach, Swiss chard, and just maybe some strawberries! And as always, they will bring their local honey and honey spreads, bee pollen, and apple butter.
Golden Valley Farms Coffee Roasters will be at the market this week with an array of their Organic, Shade-Grown, Bird-Friendly, and Fair Trade coffees and teas. GREAT HARVEST BREAD
Great Harvest is back at the market this week with their selection of delicious baked goods and breads.
The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen will be back at the market on May 22 and every other week this season. The Guild was chartered in August of 2009 as the sixteenth local chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and has become an active community of serious fine craftspeople and artists from Haverford Township and environs. They will be bringing a representation of beautiful handmade work from 14 locals artists including ceramics, jewelry, painting, greeting cards and more.

IRONSTONE
Ironstone Creamery is a new vendor to the Oakmont Farmers Market and they are located nearby in Boyertown. Ironstone will be bringing their artisan Greek yogurt and yogurt smoothies to the market. Ironstone Creamery produces their yogurt in small batches with individual love and attention to the craft the finest ethically sourced local dairy product.
Lindenhof family farm will be there with a truck full of cold coolers filled with plenty of fresh eggs, fresh turkey or chicken pies, cute whole chickens, and a lot of other wonderful choices such as a nice variety of beef steaks, pork sausages, turkey meats, and lamb cubes. North Star Orchard will arrive at market a bit later in the season (probably in June!)...as soon as Shannon has enough produce to bring. The late spring has delayed things a bit, but everything is looking good at this point, and we're looking forward to seeing you all again soon!
Paradocx comes to the market biweekly. We'll see them May 22nd with their locally produced wine.
Penns Woods Winery will be at the market this week with a selection of their locally produced wines.
Pureblend Tea is a new vendor in 2013 and they will be bringing a variety of their healthy and socially responsible teas to the market. All Pureblend teas and herbs are purchase from USDA Organic and Fair Trade Certified vendors in the effort to bring you the freshest blends, sustain the world's ecology and support the communities in small villages where tea provides a vital economy.
Margaret will be coming to the market with her 100% soy wax, hand poured, beautifully scented soy candles.
Sue will be back at the market on May 29th with her wonderful maple products, including syrup and granola.
Denny will be at the market this week with large and small mixed bouquets of all of your favorite springtime flowers.
Donna is coming to the market with all of her wonderful soaps, lotions, shampoos, and Beat It Bug! Spray.
TASTE ARTISANAL MARKETTaste Artisanal Market is also a new vendor to the Oakmont Farmers Market in 2013. They will be bringing a wide selection of gourmet spreads and accompaniments that use only the finest and freshest ingredients. We will see them at their first market on May 22nd.
Vera Pasta will be at the market with: Tagliatelle; Pappardelle; Lemon Penne; Sriracha Penne (Spicy); Tomato Basil Spaghetti; Gemelli Spaghetti with Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chiles and Parsley; Ricotta Gnocchi; Fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta and local Honey stuffed Ravioli; Goat Cheese, Sundried Tomato and Basil stuffed Ravioli Wild mushroom and Sage stuffed Ravioli; Marinara; and Sunday Gravy.
