What's Closed on Thanksgiving Day

With Thanksgiving just a few days away, it can sometimes be confusing as to what is open and closed in observance of the holiday.

The following stores and services will be closed on Thanksgiving. If you know of another store that is closing, be sure to let us know in the comments.

• All government and school offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.

• The Haverford Library will close early on Wednesday, at 6 p.m., and will be closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The library will reopen at 10 a.m. Saturday.

• The State's liquor and wine stores, including its locations on West Chester Pike, Landover Road and Greenfield Avenue, will be closed on Thanksgiving, resuming to normal business hours on Friday.

• The Westgate Pub will be closed on Thanksgiving.

• Katz Pharmacy will be closed on Thanksgiving.

• The Oakmont National Pub will close its kitchen on Thursday, though the bar will be open at 9 p.m.
