Did you know The Head Nut roasts its own coffee? According to owner Lee Molineux, The Head Nut roasts about 55 pounds of coffee about every 20 minutes. Their head coffee roaster comes from Harmony and La Colombe.
Some of the Head Nut's beans are distributed to other local businesses such as Caffe Craze in Malvern and Ray's Coffee in Philadelphia. But you don't have to travel too far to try a cup of The Head Nut's own coffee.
What Drives the Price up to $4.99 per CUP?
They sell dozens of different coffee beans and you can try one of their most expensive cups of coffee they offer—a pure, cold coffee extraction.
The coffee takes about 24 hours to fill an entire pot and a cup of this pure java will cost you $4.99 per cup at The Head Nut. That's still less exensive than the same in Center City Philadelphia.
