Restaurant Roundup: Crossroads Coffee House to Bravissimo Pizza and Pasta

Patch reviews Crossroads Coffee House, Auspicious, Silk Cuisine, Original Bagel, Dos Gringos, Fino's Pizza, Coco Thai Bistro, Coyote Crossing, Hogfish Bar and Grill, Café Volo and Bravissimo Pizza and Pasta.

Looking for a good restaurant to go to this weekend?

Haverford-Havertown Patch brought you the details of Crossroads Coffee House Thursday. Great coffee, great service and made from scratch bakery items and sandwiches are the draw of this local coffeehouse. While it might seem a bit odd to share a space with a bank, it makes running errands that much more delicious. Click  for the review.

Original Bagel 2914 West Chester Pike Broomall, PA 19008

Scratch bakery specializing in bagels and cookies, Original Bagel is much more than its name implies. A delicious bagel and savory veggie cream cheese are the standouts here. Click for the review.

Killer fish tacos and delicious guacamole and chips are the draw here. The fresh salsa bar and three distinct menus (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are also noteworthy. Click for the review.

A delicious pizza with fresh mushrooms and spinach nearly blew my mind. The crushed red pepper and chopped parsley made the pie truly extraordinary. Click for the review.

The chef here has been cooking since she was 7 years old. Nearly 30 years later she is still at the stove, coming up with new creations at the restaurant named for her young daughter. Click for the Meet the Chef/Owner.

Family recipes, home made chips, salsa and sangria are what make this hidden gem truly shine. Delicious vegetarian options also appear on the menu. Click for the review.

Café Volo 4360 Main Street Philadelphia, PA 19127

The coffee is La Colombe and the pastries are some of the best around (be sure to try the almond or ham and cheese croissants) but who is the man behind Café Volo? Click for the Meet the Owner.

Two buddies and a chef open up a seafood restaurant in Wayne much to the delight of the neighborhood. The menu is heart healthy and delicious and the trio behind the business is fantastic. Click for the Meet the Owners/Chef.

A decent slice of Sicilian, thin crust or New York style is available at this neighborhood spot. But the chicken fajita roll is one of the best things here. Click for the review.
