Pizza Shop Owner Speaks on Smoke Shop

The owner of Hoopty's Pizza weighs in on a local issue that has parents, police and government keeping an eye out.

At a commissioner's meeting earlier this month, local resident Bill Corcoran spoke out against Greyboy's.

“I have a big problem with [the business],” he said. “My wife went in and said it’s all loaded up … in the back, it’s all bongs. You can’t say its tobacco, because no one smokes tobacco out of a vaporizer. It may be legal, but it’s not right.”

Haverford Commissioner Bill Wechsler said that “from a police and codes perspective,” the business was being watched.
