Moms Eat Local: Frankie's Cafe

Find out how kid-friendly Frankie's Cafe in Havertown is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Frankie's Cafe is a good place to eat with your children.

Restaurant:

Is there a kids’ menu? Not officially but they can make many of their regular menu items smaller to be more kid-friendly (e.g. chicken fingers, buffalo chicken tenders and linguini and meatballs). Mozzarella sticks and french fries are always kid-friendly.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? The linguini and meatballs are probably the healthiest, there are salads and the soups could be a healthier option.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will try to accommodate you.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? It depends on how filled the dining room is. Small cries will typically go unnoticed though. It's a pretty relaxed environment.
