Kids Eat Local: Nais Cuisine

Find out how kid-friendly Nais Cuisine in Havertown is.

We know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if Nais Cuisine is a good place to eat with your children.

Is there a kids’ menu? No, but the server pointed out items like angel hair pasta, fettuccini with baby clams and escallop of chicken which could be modified for kids by serving the sauce on the side or simplifying the dishes.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? Plain pasta or a sauteed breast of chicken are fairly healthy.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert your server and they will try to accommodate you as best they can.

Is there a diaper changing station? No.

How difficult is it to maneuver a stroller through the dining area? Not too difficult.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? It depends on how filled the dining room is but I would classify this place as more of a grown-up dining environment as there are candles, flowers and it's a BYOB. That being said, I did see some children in the dining room and they seemed to be having a fine time.
