The Oakmont Farmers Market will be open on Wednesday, August 14.
The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot, 1 W. Eagle Road in Havertown.
The farmers market has provided a list of vendors that will be at the market this week and what they will be offering shoppers.
Rod will be back at the market with his tasty bison steaks and jerky. We will see him biweekly through the season.
Peg will have yellow and green zucchini, red, yellow and green peppers, onions, carrots, beets, hot peppers, green and yellow beans, yellow and red potatoes, cherry tomatoes, red and yellow slicing tomatoes, corn, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, herbs, cantaloupe, and watermelon. As always, she'll have dog treats too!

This week Mike will have cherry and slicing tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, frying and, bell peppers, corn, zucchini, okra, green beans, onions, yellow and red potatoes, white and yellow peaches, nectarines, table grapes, blackberries, blueberries, donut peaches, cantaloupe, and watermelon. The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen will be back at the market this week. There will be artwork from 15 local artists including a wide variety of jewelry, pottery, paintings, greeting cards, dolls, and activity books for children, illustrated by one of our members.
This week Axel will have beef steaks! He will be bringing New York Strips, Delmonicos, Filets, ranch steaks and many others. Also plenty of fresh pork chops, boneless shoulder roasts, sausages and plenty of fresh chicken and turkey items including eggs and fresh meat pies.
Deb will be back at the market with her always delicious (and sometimes boozy!) Irish Victory Cakes. She will be at the market twice monthly through the season.MOMPOPS

Denise will return to the market this week with her peanut, almond and cashew butters, Buckeye bars, and PB&O's (peanut butter and oatmeal bars). This week she'll be bringing the latest addition to the butter menu: Chocolate Almond Butter! We will see her twice monthly through the season.
Shannon and Alex will have peaches and apples for fruit, plus an exciting new item - heritage (ie. non-GMO) wheat! Great to cook and use instead of farro, barley, rice, etc. in recipes. Or grind it into flour to make bread! They'll also be bringing lettuce, Swiss chard, kale, tomatoes, and more.
