Fresh Flowers, Chocolates at Oakmont Farmers Market Wednesday

The Oakmont Farmers Market will be open on Wednesday, August 21.
The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot, 1 W. Eagle Road in Havertown.
The farmers market has provided a list of vendors that will be at the market this week and what they will be offering shoppers.

Amazing Acres Goat Dairy will have an assortment of fresh and fresh-aged goat cheese for sale and sampling.

Peg will have green and yellow zucchini, multicolored peppers, hot peppers (jalapeno and cayenne), onions, green and yellow beans, cabbage, corn, red and white potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, and cantaloupe. As always, she'll have dog treats too!
Bob will be at the market with his personal size gourmet pizzas, including Monterey Special, Margherita, Old Style Pesto and Roasted Pepperoni, as well a selection of Cheese Strombolis with spinach, pepperoni, sausage & peppers and Buffalo chicken. If you have any special requests for whole wheat, gluten free or other favorite crusts/toppings, please email Bob at bob@bobsbakeathome.com with your request. We will see him biweekly through the season.

FRUITWOOD ORCHARDS HONEY FARMThis week Mike will have red and white potatoes, peppers, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, green & yellow squash, Yum Yum peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe, table grapes, nectarines, and peaches (yellow, white and donut). Of course, he will have his local honey, honey spreads, bee pollen, and apple butter.

Darren is back at the market this week with a selection of his delicious baked goods and breads.
Kim will be at the market with her artisan Greek yogurt and yogurt smoothies in strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and plain. This week, Kim is introducing Ironstone Creamery's cultured butter made from grass fed, pasteurized cream. The butter has added bacteria giving it a fuller more buttery flavor with a little tang. It also contains microorganisms thereby making it a probiotic food. Use as a spread or for baking to give a softer, chewy texture. We will see Kim biweekly through the season.
This week Axel will have beef steaks! He will be bringing New York Strips, Delmonicos, Filets, ranch steaks and many others. Also plenty of fresh pork chops, boneless shoulder roasts, sausages and plenty of fresh chicken and turkey items including eggs and fresh meat pies.
MOMPOPSIssa will be at the market this week with a new flavor: pineapple basil! His popsicles are handmade and gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free, and 100% vegan. Pick up a case - 10 pops for $20.

Shannon and Alex will have peaches, apples, rainbow beets, tomatoes, Swiss chard, kale, sweet peppers, scallions, garlic, heritage wheat, and more! Cliff will be at the market this week with Penns Woods Winery's lively, Pennsylvania wines. All wines are crafted by Gino Razzi and Davide Creato - both originally from Abruzzo, Italy. Stop by and pick up a bottle! Cliff will be at the market biweekly this season.
Kari will be at the market with freshly blended Ready-to-Brew iced teas. And a limited supply of FREE samples of her Superior Grade Matcha!
