Moms Talk: Fun Fall Things To Do

So grab a cup of coffee and settle in as we start the conversation today: What are some fun fall things to do with the kids?

Answer from Mom’s Councilmember Denise (mother of 1): One of the things I like to do with my daughter in the fall is go to . There are multiple things we can do there, such as go on a hayride, go apple picking, visit pumpkinland and they also have a great play area that includes a maze for the kids. If we have a rainy day, we like to bake and the fall is a perfect time of year to make pumpkin muffins.

Answer from Mom’s Councilmember Julie (mother of 3): I agree with Denise, we love going to Linvella, there is a lot to do during the week and there is a lot of great events on the weekends. There is also the option to pick your own and we have gotten a tone of fresh fruit for all kind of stuff to eat and make. We also enjoy going to the Grange. They have an event coming up soon as a matter of fact. As a family we get to participate in scavenger hunt, paint pumpkins and make a scarecrow.  

As far as indoor activities, we like to do a lot of crafts with outdoor things that remind us of fall. We have made things out of leaves, acorns pinecones and apples.
