Whiz Kid's AccomplishmentChloe Datner and Tara Huff  are actresses in The Butterfly Project, a theatrical outreach program of the Wolf Performing Arts Center, a non-profit performing arts center based in Wynnewood. The Butterfly Project features a performance of I Never Saw Another Butterfly by Celeste Raspanti. This one-act play based on the book of the same name brings to life actual poetry written by children who passed through Terezin Concentration Camp during the Holocaust. Over 15,000 children passed through the camp; less than 100 of them survived. Both Datner and Huff have been a part of The Butterfly Project since the beginning of the tour in October 2012.

Whiz Kid's Awesomeness: In recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day on April 8-9 at 7:30pm, Chloe and Tara will take the stage at the Kimmel Center, Pereleman Theater as part of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA).  With just the bare minimum in way of set, costuming, and technical enhancements, Chloe and Tara will join other Main Line children in performing I Never Saw Another Butterfly.

On Monday April 8, the performance were followed by a presentation from Holocaust survivor speaker, Michael Herskovitz. On Tuesday April 9, playwright Celeste Raspanti will speak to the audience following the performance. Tickets to PIFA performances of The Butterfly Project are on sale for $10/ticket through the Festival box office: http://www.pifa.org/events/41.
