Haverford Music Festival Preparations Underway
The Haverford Music Festival takes place September 7 from noon to 9:30 p.m. at Eagle and Darby roads in Havertown.
Last week Haverford Township's Public Works Department was busy hanging the street banners to promote the Third Annual Haverford Music Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 7.
The annual event attracted 15,000 last year and will expand to four stages featuring over 40 bands of all genres including Rock, Folk, Classical and Pop, according to the festival planners. Confirmed performers include Del’s Groove, Suzie Brown, Live at the Fillmore, Laura Mann and Ashley Leone.
More than 75 food, business and arts vendors will be on hand to feed and entertain the music fans who come from all over the Philadelphia area to experience the Haverford Music Festival. Read about the new Beer Garden that will be included in this year's event.
The Haverford Music Festival’s presenting sponsors include Giant, Xfinity and iRadioPhilly.com, which will broadcast live from the event.
The Haverford Music Festival is a fundraiser for the Haverford Township Civic Council and funds non-profit organizations in Haverford Township.
