“We are excited to be one of the host venues for this event.  We have been looking for just these types of opportunities to make use of the facility,” says Jeremy Myers, Director of Worship Technology.  ”We’re planning  to operate a concession stand and to pipe the music outside.”

The Rock stage will host small performing groups, ranging in size from 1 to 4 members, according to event organizers.

The Rock, whose building was purchased by Grace Chapel in 2012, has had extensive renovations to include an 8’ x 16’ stage, 1000w sound system and seating capacity for 125. The Rock serves the chapel as a facility for special events, weekly youth group meetings and other program activities such as speakers, classes and various stage performances.

“Our festival has met with great success,” says Emanuel Del Pizzo, the festival’s Music Director. “Adding a fourth stage not only lets us have more acts, it gives us room to offer a 4-hour open mic session.”

Scott McClatchy of the Scott McClatchy Band will manage the session scheduled from noon to 4 p.m.; performers will play on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the music festival.
