Marple Road to Close for Water Main Replacement
The weekday closure will be in effect through the middle of November.
Aqua Pennsylvania will close Marple Road between Darby Creek Road and Darby Road in Haverford Township weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting Tuesday, Sept. 3 for water main replacement, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
The weekday closure will be in effect through the middle of November.
Water Main Work to Close Manoa RoadDuring construction, Marple Road through traffic will be detoured over Darby Road and Route 320 (Sproul Road). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area, according to PennDOT.

The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, according to a press release.
