Manoa Road to be Closed for Resurfacing

The construction schedule is contingent on the weather.

The following was provided to Patch:

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Manoa Road weekdays between Edgewood Road and Grove Place in Haverford Township, Delaware County, from Tuesday, April 22, through Tuesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for resurfacing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced.

During this weekday operation, Manoa Road through traffic will be detoured over Earlington Road, Township Line Road and Haverford Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 680 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available by calling 5-1-1, and regional Twitter alerts are available on the 511PA website.
