The Washington Post analyzed census data to find zip codes where people rank highest. A zip’s ranking is a number between 0 and 99 representing the average of its percentile ranks in college education and in income.

According to data from the U.S. Census and ESRI, the median household income in the 19041 zip code is $119,583. Seventy-five percent of residents are college graduates, according to data.

The analysis was adapted from one used by author Charles Murray.

The 650 zip codes with rankings of 95 and higher are being called “super zips.” According to The Post, The largest collection of super zips is around Washington, D.C.

In the nation’s 650 super zips the typical household income is $120,272, and 68 percent of adults hold college degrees.
