Fire Bureau Meeting Cancelled for Tuesday
Read about some of the things happening Tuesday in Haverford and Havertown.
1. Haverford Township's Parks and Recreation Board will meet Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at 2325 Darby Road.
2. At 7 p.m. Haverford Township's Bureau of Fire will meet not at Oakmont Fire Company at 23 W Benedict Avenue, as previously reported. The bureau's July and August meetings have been cancelled, Havertown Township told Patch Tuesday.
3. 10U-Whitemarsh will play Haverford at Minors Field at 6 p.m. (Haverford Township Little League)
4. Heavy rain is forecast for Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
