Gone in 30 Seconds: Haverford Egg Hunt Madness

Watch what happens when a couple of hundred children and their parents are unleashed on a couple of thousand Easter eggs.

What do you get when you mix a couple of hundred excited children with a couple of thousand Easter eggs full of treats?

Possibly a world record in Easter egg hunts speed. OK, maybe not. The world may never know.

The kids and parents who took part in Saturday's Hilltop Civic Association Easter egg hunt at Steel Park in Haverford were laser-focused on the field of colorful eggs spread out before them. When the wait leading up to the start whistle at 10:30 a.m. sharp finally ended, a lot of pent-up excitement was released and eggs disappered faster than you can say "here comes Peter Cottontail!"
