  • When: Ongoing through Sunday, Dec. 9
  • Where: Main Line Arts Center
  • Why Go: This is your last chance to shop from an amazing assortment of one-of-a-kind fine crafts including handmade jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, fabric and more.  All handcrafted by professional artists from the region. Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm; Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm

Breakfast with Santa at Applebee's

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 8 from 8 - 10 a.m.
  • Where: Applebee's Havertown
  • Why Go:  Bring the kids out to have breakfast with Santa for a great cause.  Enjoy unlimited pancakes, sausage, coffee, juice or soda.  All proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Breakfast with Santa at Tip O'Leary's

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. - Noon
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Enjoy an all you can eat buffet with Santa.  Tip O’Leary’s will give the Sacred Heart School 10% of the profits. No reservations. First come, first serve.
  • Cost: Child: $5.00; Adult: $11.00

15th Annual Reindeer Romp

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.
  • Where: Oakmont Elementary School, Haverford
  • Why Go: The Reindeer Romp is a 5K Fun Run through Havertown that benefits the American Cancer Society.  Join all the reindeer back at the Oakmont Elementary School for awards and refreshments. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa. You make pick up your race packet on Saturday at Nolan Painting between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or on Race Day between 2 - 3 p.m. at Oakmont Elementary. 
  • Cost: $25, $10 children

Children's Book World Brooklyn Bunch

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 8 at 1 p.m.
  • Where: Children's Book World, Haverford
  • Why Go: Four picture book creators will be making their way from Brooklyn to Children's Book World for an afternoon of fun and enjoyment. The authors and books include: Creepy Carrots by Peter Brown, Big Mean Mike by Michelle Knudsen, Moonshot by Brian Floca, and Infinity and Me by Kate Hosford.
  • Cost: Free

First Friday Flick - Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

  • When: Friday, Dec. 7 from 7 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: Haverford Township Free Library
  • Why Go: Come to the library for their First Friday Flick showing Salmon Fishing in the Yemen.  Starring Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas, this is an inspirational film where a fisheries expert is enlisted to bring the sport of fly-fishing to the desert and prove the impossible is truly possible.  Popcorn served, but feel free to bring your own snack.
  • Cost: Free

Monday Night Movie at the Library

  • When: Monday, Dec. 10 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Where: Haverford Township Free Library
  • Why Go: Bring the kids for the holiday movie this week: Jack Frost.  The library will supply the cookies and milk.
