Winterfest

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 6 from Noon - 5 p.m.
  • Where:The Skatium
  • Why Go: Enjoy fun and festivities, complimentary group lesson instructions, and entertaining events.  For additional information, please visit The Delaware County Skating Club's website
  • Cost: Free

First Friday Flick

  • When: Friday, Jan. 4 from 7 - 9 p.m.
  • Where: Haverford Township Free Library
  • Why Go: The first friday flick of the new year will be showing Moonrise Kingdom starring Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand and Bill Murray and rated PG-13. 
  • Cost: Free

Kids and Parent/Child Yoga

  • When: Saturday, Jan. 5 from 10 - 10:35 a.m. and 10:50 - 11:40 a.m.
  • Where:Haverford Township Free Library
  • Why Go: There are two sessions this Saturday morning.  The first session at 10 a.m. is open to ages 3, 4, and 5 year olds with a parent or caregiver.  This class is currently full, but they are accepting waitlist.  The second session at 10:50 a.m. still has openings and is open to school aged children from K - 5th grade. Preregistration and release form are required.
  • Cost: Free

"The 9" Songwriter Series

  • When: Friday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m.
  • Where:MilkBoy Coffee
  • Why Go: Founded in 2008 by singer/songwriter Justin Trawick, "The 9 Songwriter Series" is a touring live music showcase based in Washington, DC. Each installment features nine solo singer/songwriters performing in rotation, providing audiences with a rich, intimate, varied listening experience.
  • Cost: $10
