2012 CHOP Holiday Boutique

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: The 2012 Holiday Boutique will feature fashionable clothing, accessories, fine jewelry, exquisite home accessories, art and collectibles with 25% of sales donated to the CHOP through the Women's Committee of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  A preview party is open on Thursday, Nov. 29 for additional costs.  In addition, if you would like to enjoy lunch on Friday, the cost in advance is $30, $35 at the door.

Holiday Fine Craft Sale

  • Where: Main Line Arts Center
  • Why Go: Shop from an amazing assortment of one-of-a-kind fine crafts including handmade jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, fabric and more.  All handcrafted by professional artists from the region. Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm; Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm

5K Chilly Chili Trail Run

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 at 11 a.m.
  • Where: Haverford Reserve, 3500 Darby Rd, Haverford
  • Why Go: This is the First Annual Chilli Chilly Run. This scenic 5K will take you through 3 miles of beautiful trails at Haverford Reserve. The route is challenging for all levels - first time trail runners and those with experience or register for our fun 1 mile winter walk.  A hot lunch will be served immediately following the race in the new CREC. Proceeds go to maintaining the trails at Haverford Reserve.

Haverford Guild of Craftsmen Open Studio Tour

  • Why Go: Visit over 30 fine artisans exhibiting & selling at six home studios in Haverford Township.   Friday, November 30 from 10am- 9 pm; Saturday, December 1 from 10am-6 pm; Sunday, December 2 from 10 am - 5pm. Manoa Holiday Fair

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Where: Manoa Elementary School 201 S Manoa Rd, Havertown
  • Why Go: The Manoa PTO invites the community to their 1st Annual Holiday Fair. The kids will enjoy the "secret" holiday shop where all items are under $6.  There will be over 40 vendors with jewelry, candles, handbags, toys, home decor, pottery, hair accessories, health & beauty products, poinsettias, embroidery, foods & cooking, and much, much, more! Enjoy the holiday cafe and bake sale, activities for kids and bring your gold, silver or coins and trade them in for cash!
  • Cost: Free

Christmas Champagne Celebration

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 from 4 - 6 p.m.
  • Where: The Historic Grange Estate
  • Why Go: Enjoy a late afternoon of champagne, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, music, beautiful trees, a decorated mansion and the model train display.  
  • Cost: $20

Holiday Weekends at The Grange

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Where: The Historic Grange Estate
  • Why Go: Open Saturdays and Sundays starting Dec. 2 through January 6, come check out the beautifully decorated mansion, the trimmed trees, the model train display and gift shop.
  • Cost: $5 adults, $1 students *train display free
