It's 'George to the Rescue' for Havertown Mom

A drunk driver crashed into her home. Now a reality series has helped her rebuild.

Mary Ann Zeserman is an outside the box thinker.

When her Heatherwood Road home was badly damaged in April by a drunk driver who barreled into it in the wee hours of the morning, rather than despair, she took an unusual tack: Zeserman sent an email to the host of one of her favorite reality TV shows.

The shot in the dark connected. The show’s producer got back to her and six months later, according to the Delaware County Daily Times, ‘George to the Rescue’ gave the single mother of three an extreme home makeover.
