Fox in Bryn Mawr Tests Positive for Rabies

This is the second rabid animal in the area this month.

A fox in the Bryn Mawr section of Radnor Township has tested positive for rabies, and township officials are warning residents to avoid contact with wild animals.

The township said that on March 8, a Bryn Mawr resident reported a fox acting strangely. Police also observed the animal’s strange behavior, and the animal was euthanized.

Tests performed by the state Department of Health have confirmed the fox was rabid, making it the second rabid animal found in the township this month
