Blood Drive, Parks and Rec Meeting This Week Around Haverford

1. On Monday at 7:30 p.m. Haverford Township's Shade Tree Commission will meet.

2. The American Red Cross is having a blood drive at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ardmore on August 26 from 1 to 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Click here to sign up online.

3. On Tuesday at 7:30p.m. Haverford Township's Parks and Recreation Board will meet.

4. Haverford School District will hold teacher orientation and in-service days and events for new students all week.

5. Performance Fitness "Build A Backpack!" Campaign through September 7 in Wynnewood and Havertown. Performance Fitness has partnered with the Cradles to Crayons "Ready for School" program and set a goal of building 60 backpacks to ensure the success of children in need.
