International Ballet Classique Announces Parris Bradley as Guest Narrator for Nutcracker Ballet.

International Ballet Classique in Media is pleased to announce that Mr. Parris Bradley, Production Manager of the Villanova University Department of Theatre will be our on stage “Guest Narrator” for the Saturday December 14, 2:00 pm performance of our Nutcracker Ballet at Neumann University.

Parris Bradley is the Production Manager of the Villanova University Department of Theatre (VUDT) and a Theatre Set and Sound Designer. Previous to working at VUDT, Parris worked as a Technical Director at many theatres in the Philadelphia area, including VUDT, Wilma Theatre, and Arden Theatre Company.  Sound design credits include Woman and Scarecrow, Cabaret, The Zoo Story (VUDT), Lydia (Amaryllis Theatre). Set design credits include Salomé, Three Days of Rain, The Zoo Story, Metamorphoses, two Irish One Acts – Riders to the Sea and Dreaming of the Bones (VUDT).  Metamorphoses featured a site designed and built 3,000 gallon heated swimming pool. He has also designed two outdoor installations for Tyler Arboretum in Media, Pa.  (The Troll Bridge [co-design with John Stovicek], Nature’s Wave Bench).  Upcoming design (Spring 2014) for Tyler is a permanent Tulip Treehouse (co-design with Michael Rhile). Parris has served as a technical theatre designer and consultant for the Public Theatre in NYC, Mainstay Art Center in Rock Hall, MD, Harcum College’s Little Theatre, and the Community Performing Arts Center at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. Parris is a board member for CPAC at Pennsylvania Institute of Technology and former board member for the Media Arts Council. For the latter, he produced a monthly concert series for 6 years that coincided with Media’s 2nd Saturday Events. Annually, Parris helps organize the Bastille Day Celebration in Media.    Parris can also be seen playing regionally in the eclectic Americana Band- The Obsoleets www.Obsoleets.com
