Kids' Clothing Sale, Fun Run This Week in Havertown

Read about some of the things happening this week in Haverford Township.

1. A portion of sales' proceeds at Oakmont National Pub on Tuesday, August 6 will be donated to the Haverford Township Free Library. From 5 to 9 p.m. let your server know you’re a fan of the library and a portion of the check will be donated to it. You can join the event on Facebook.

2. The Spring Chicken Kids' Consignment Sale is a twice yearly baby and children's clothing and equipment sale on Friday at Armenian Martyrs' Congregational Church, 100 N. Edmonds Avenue in Havertown.

3. Join a weekly fun run in Havertown. Runners of all abilities are welcome. Meet at the top of the bus route at Oakmont School at 6:30 p.m.

4. An August 5 hearing before the Board of Commissioners scheduled for a proposed project located at 5 Llandillo Road has been continued to a later date.  

5. You have until Tuesday to vote for former Havertown resident Jason Simms in The Dickies American Hero of the Year Contest.
