The Haverford Middle School Jazz Festival will be held Friday, February 8, from 7-11 p.m. This year's festival will be held at Haverford High School. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
The HMS Jazz Ensemble and HMS Fords will perform at the end of the evening and the HHS Jazz Combo will entertain during intermissions. Ensembles from Springton Lake, Strath Haven, Welsh Valley, Germantown Friends, Beverly Hills and Drexel Hill middle schools will compete. Each group will play for approximately 25 minutes. Awards will be presented at the end of the evening.

Haverford Band and Orchestra Parents (BOPs) is a parent booster organization, which raises funds to support the music programs at Haverford High School and Middle School. Funds raised by Haverford BOPs go toward the purchase of uniforms and instruments, instrument repair, student scholarships, refreshments at events and competitions and subsidizing transportation and drill instruction.
