DESCRIPTION:esidents  of Haverford Township are once again invited to enr
 oll their children  in The School District of Haverford Township Summer 
 Music Program for  elementary and secondary students. &nbsp\;The program
  offers a unique summer  experience for children interested in music\; w
 hether they want to  advance their instrumental skills or learn the basi
 cs\, the program has  something for everyone.&nbsp\;\n&ldquo\;We  are pl
 eased to continue to offer the residents of Haverford Township a  conven
 ient and affordable outlet for their children to experience  music\,&rdq
 uo\; stated Dr. Bill Keilbaugh\, Superintendent of The School District  
 of Haverford Township.&nbsp\;&ldquo\;The summer music program has consis
 tently been a  success and we are proud to contribute to the cultural gr
 owth of the  children within our township year round.&rdquo\;&nbsp\;\nTh
 e  instrumental program includes beginning\, intermediate and advanced  
 instruction in violin\, viola\, cello\, string bass\, trumpet\, trombone
 \,  French horn\, baritone\, tuba\, flute\, clarinet\, oboe\, bassoon\, 
 saxophone  and percussion.&nbsp\;Ensembles will be available to students
  with at least  one year of previous study.&nbsp\;\nThe  choral program 
 is offered to children who enjoy singing and have  completed grades thre
 e through five.&nbsp\;Participants will learn a variety  of songs\, whic
 h will be part of a performance on the last day of  class.&nbsp\;Vocal t
 echnique\, posture and breath control will be emphasized.  Students will
  also gain experience in choral movement and folk dance\,  part-singing 
 and varied conducting styles.&nbsp\;There will be opportunities  for sol
 os and playing rhythm instruments.\nAll classes will be held at Chestnut
 wold Elementary School beginning June 25.&nbsp\;Students  may opt for ei
 ther of the two 3-week sessions or the full 6-week  program.&nbsp\;The f
 irst 3-week session will be held June 25th through July  13th\; the seco
 nd 3-week session will be held from July 16th through  August 3rd\; and 
 the full 6-week session will be held from June 25th  through August 3rd.
  More than one music class can be taken\, schedule  permitting.
