Step into history with us along Karakung Drive on the first Sunday of June, Sunday June 3rd 2012 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

It is the Haverford Township Historical Society's 6th annual Heritage Festival. Like previous years, we will have pony rides for kids, historical re-enactors demonstrating various Colonial-era techniques for black smithing, making candles, beer brewing, lighting, and much more.

New this year:  PIRATES!  Who is the most infamous pirate you can think of? Come and discover the local connection to one of, if not the most, infamous pirates in U.S. history.   See real-live fire spinning, black powder rifle demos, pirate face painting for the kids (and adults?), and maritime pirate music.
